2005 Hanoverian mare, Talented youngster, WTC under saddle

Grassias is a beautiful 4 year old 16 hd chestnut Hanoverian mare with a wonderful temperament suited for the adult amateur. Out of the best German bloodlines, registered with the American Hanoverian Society. Sire: Elite Stallion Grafenburg (imported from Germany, out of the Absatz/Grande Line), Dame: Elite Mare Dove (out of the D and W lines). Won the Old South Breed Show 2007 Hanoverian Championship as a 2 year old.

Grassias has been under saddle for 10 months and is schooling Training/First level. She is a very light and forward thinking mare, but also extremely sensible for her age. We have crossed streams during our trail rides and have started cavaletti work this summer. Grassias also has had lots of exposure to ground work (poles, tarps etc.)

Grassias is well rounded and very safe, but has that presence in the show ring that will get you the great scores. 70s at Intro this spring and recently won her first Training Level test with a 68.9% at a local schooling show with an “L” judge. Won her Materiale and Intro B class end of August (Ole South Breed Show, Murfreesboro, TN) with a score in the high 60s.

Never been sick, no vices, not marish, always barefoot, in your pocket attitude, loads, clips, braids, cross ties, ties, etc. Just a great mare which is sadly for sale as I have one too many youngsters. $15,000

Very nice mare, sweet; loves people.
Very pretty and wonderful disposition.
Does well on trails and arena both.  Great ground manners.
Just had her teeth balanced last month by the Equine Dentist (3rd time).
Easy to handle, wonderful feel under saddle.
Has more "lift" in canter than your typical stock type horse.
Not difficult at all, but probably not for the absolutely beginner with no experience.
Asking $4500.

Junior, 6 year old 16.2 hd Trakehner gelding (grade)

Big, strong guy. Moves beautifully.
Very personable with people.
In January 2007, I put 3 short rides on him. With only 45 minutes ground time before the 1st ride, he was awesome!  I have not had a single moment to put time back on him, which is why I am selling him.
I think he would make an excellent dressage prospect.
If I do get a chance to get more training into him, the price will increase.
Also just had his teeth done by the Equine Dentist last month.
Has had them done regularly since he was 3 years old.
Asking $4000 (prior to any additional training)
